Before you start looking for a house, it's recomeded that you must first get pre-qualified for the loan amount. This way you will know your maximum loan limit.

Documents required from borrower and co-borrower for pre-qualification:

1. Salary employed: last two years W-2's

2. Self employed: last two years business and personal tax returns with all schedules

3. Current one month paystubs

4. Last two months bank statements with all the pages for all accounts
